Triple Diamond Energy Corporation Pushes Forward Following Setback

Focusing on a New Opportunity After Determining Justice #13-4 a Dry Well

Dallas, TX – August 04, 2011 – Triple Diamond Energy hit total depth on the Justice #13-4 well in Garvin County Oklahoma on Saturday, July 16th, 2011. After analyzing feedback from the operation, the company has determined that the exploratory oil will not produce the minimum oil levels to be economic.

“While this is normal for our industry, the outcome is nonetheless a disappointment,” reports TDE President Chris Jent, “We will simply learn from the experience and make adjustments going forward.”

Triple Diamond Energy has commenced drilling a new well, the Toni #12-1, on July 20th, 2011. Company geologists and geophysicists used seismic and geophysical surveying to explore the area surrounding this new well. The technology provides highly accurate renditions of the geometry of subsurface layers, and should provide additional information that was not available on the Justice #13-4 well. “We believe we have solved the issues from Justice#13-4 with the Toni #12-1, and expect it be a successful well,” says Jent.

Triple Diamond has reported strong trends for the first half of the year, and looks forward to positive results from the new Toni #12-1 well soon.
